My name is Viviana Arteaga, or "Vivi" for short. I am currently a senior at Johnson High School. As a part of my mentorship, I am currently at Lanier Career Academy Preschool. My mentors include Mrs. Mary Jo McCain and Mrs. Linda Woodall. I work in the toddler classroom alongside my mentors every day, learning more and more about the childhood care field as each day progresses. Every day, I work with the kids teaching them numbers, the alphabet, shapes, colors and more. I work with them one on one in order to make sure they are learning more efficiently. After high school, I plan on attending the University of North Georgia and majoring in Pre-Med and continue on to become a pediatrician. This internship has allowed me to grasp a greater taste of what it is like to be around children every day. I can apply this experience to future situations because I have learned the type of communication needed to care for children. This experience has been truly wonderful, and I have learned a lot thanks to my mentors who have become role models for me.
